![]() ![]() So here we go, stage #1 is pointing you guys to available resources Here's a great tutorial on how to set up UNVEIL by Mike Thornton:Īnother reason why you may have found yourself in the "don't like it" campe is that when we were the first to offer real-time, general purpose reverb removal based on AI in 2012, expectations were generally (necessarily) unrealistic, since there was nothing to compare to, except the abstract, perfect ideal de-reverberator (aka "magic"), or the dry source if you had it available. Partially, that is part of the deal when creating something new, you figure it out as you go.but still, we could be doing a better job of explaining how to use it *correctly*. I'll concede though – regarding "using it wrong" – that we're low on tutorials and that we named our parameters more abstractly (or actually: technically more accurately) than we would do it nowadays. But I haven't revisited it since it came out.Probably, yesĪt any rate, always happy to provide a trial reset if you want to revisit, and to help find the right settings for a specific case. A fully functional demo is available to download from the website (inserts white noise every 30 seconds or so).I must have been one of those using Unveil wrong because I didn't like it.
